I still remember that I worked there with such a good time in T.G.I. Fridays. At first, I am still a food runner. I always do what people asked me to do. And I got to learn a lot of knowledges of foods and baverages. Of course, wines and cocktails also. I really don't have any experiences before working there. This is my first time to know a lot of different things. I try to do my best in this job. Although the payment is so-so. But the most important thing for me is improving my english speaking abilities and how to chat and communicate with native speakers. So I met a canadian girl named Kristy there. She is so independence and traveled to taiwan alone. We are good friends and of course I realized how's her life be like in our conversations. It is really funny!
We had a Bar-contest in 2003. I was one of the competitors. When I draw the first one, I was so~~ nervous. But, I can't care about anything else. All I got to do is finishing the 5 drinks to the judges. Of course, flairs..... It's the hardest part for me. Because I have to learn how to make flair in 2 weeks. It truly bothers me. When all 6 challengers all completed. I was so~~~~~~~ surprised that I am in. I can't believe I will be a bartender. Wow! Amazing!
The time I worked there really impressed me. I won't forget the time I spent. And a fine working experience can't be bought by money. I treasure these moment especially. :)
